Fire Safety for Business, Part 5: Wrap Up

Making and Emergency Response Plan for your business is important so you, your employees, and your business are ready if and when disaster strikes. It is important that the plan be tailored to each business’s unique circumstances. However, there are additional considerations beyond the fire safety information provided in the rest of this series of articles.

FEMA and Ready.gov have provided an Emergency Response Plan worksheet, which you can download on their website or right here. There are many other tools available to business owners through Ready.gov and other sources that can help you identify and plan for specific threats to your business. Gate Keepers Fire & Safety can also help you identify your needs and the proper equipment and training.

Beyond just fire safety, there are many disasters that can potentially strike a business and you should add different scenarios to your Emergency Response Plan so it is comprehensive and available to help in any emergency that might happen. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us and ask.
